Simone Cenedese was born in Murano in 1973 into a glassmaking family of long standing. He is one of the youngest master glassmakers in Murano.

He approached glassmaking while still very young, driven by his passion for  design, first as a hobby, and then working  full-time in the family furnace. He represents  the third generation of Cenedese glassmakers, after Giuseppe and Giovanni.
